Cameo is one of the most popular Funk/ Rock and Soul bands of its era. The group topped the R&B charts for more than a decade and has sold more than 17 million albums. The group rose to the top of the charts in the early 80s with the album Word Up! and its hits, "Word Up!" and "Candy."
From the seventies through today, Cameo has been churning out trailblazing hits. Their unique funk-filled sounds have been featured in numerous music and film projects of such all-star artists as Tupac, Will Smith, Mariah Carey and many more. The group continues to tour and perform today, including a residency show at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.
