The Purpose

Turner Broadcasting created the annual Trumpet Awards to demonstrate total community involvement, global respect for all humanity and its commitment to diversity by heralding the accomplishments of men and women who have significantly contributed in enhancing the quality of life for all…individuals and/or groups who augment the richness of this great global society by partnering the cause of justice and equality of all.

The Criteria
