Larenz Tate’s acting career started early when he was cast on a Christmas episode of The Twilight Zone (1985) at age 10. From there he went on to star in notable television series such as The Wonder Years, 21 Jump Street and Family Matters. His big break came when he was cast as the lead in the 1993 critically-acclaimed motion picture, Menace II Society. Following the success of that movie, he continued to secure high profile roles in both television and film, appearing in such hits as Love Jones, Crash, Ray, Rescue Me and House of Lies. Tate is currently starring as Congressman Tate on the STARZ megahit, Power.
